Cloisters

In Austria there are eleven cloisters of nuns in Bärnbach, Gmunden, Graz, Himmelau (St. Michaela i.L.), Innsbruck, Linz, Maria Jeutendorf, Maria Zell, Mayerling (Alland), Rankweil, and Vienna, and four cloisters of friars in Graz, Innsbruck, Linz and Vienna.

The three communities of the Third Order Carmelites (OCDS) are affiliated with the friars monasteries in Graz, Linz, and Vienna. Their contact addresses are the addresses of their respective monasteries.

There are also two congregations of Carmelite nuns: The Marienschwestern vom Karmel and the Carmelites of the Divine Heart of Jesus (Karmelitinnen vom Göttlichen Herzen Jesu).
